As a Chicagoland native, Dr. Lisha Patel founded Eyes on Schaumburg with the goal of bringing a fresh approach to your family's vision needs. With over a decade of experience in optometry, Dr. Patel has dedicated herself to providing the highest quality of healthcare to the people of her community. 

She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and subsequently graduated cum laude from Illinois College of Optomery with her Doctorate of Optometry in 2013. Dr. Patel completed her clinical training at well known medical centers including; The Illinois Eye Institute, Vision Source Eyecare, Gottlieb Eye Center, and the Philadelphia VA Medical Center.   
 
Dr. Patel focuses on providing comprehensive eye examinations with special interests in the fitting of various types of contact lenses and the medical management of ocular disease. She continues to be at the forefront of technology to provide thorough, personalized care for each of her patients. Recognizing effective communication as critical, she is able to conduct eye exams in Spanish as well as Gujarati for patients if needed. For her, the most rewarding part of optometry is each individual patient encounter where she finds significant joy in helping her patients with their unique vision needs. 

In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons. She also likes going to concerts and trying new restaurants. Dr. Patel sincerely looks forward to serving you and your family in the near future!
